Privacy Policy
This describes what data Fragrace collects, why, and what rights you have over it.
Who is responsible for your data
The site operator listed on the Impressum page is the data controller for Fragrace.
What we collect, and why
- Quiz answers. Your budget, occasion, scent preferences, and similar answers, so we can score and recommend fragrances. Stored with your result link.
- Feedback you submit. Whether a match felt right and any notes you write, so we can improve the quiz and the site.
- Account data, only if you sign in with Google: your name, email, and profile image, so you can save and revisit your results. Guest mode collects none of this.
- IP address, held briefly in server memory to prevent spam and abuse, never written to the database.
Legal basis
Processing quiz answers and feedback relies on our legitimate interest in providing and improving the service. Google sign-in relies on your consent and the need to perform the account features you request.
Cookies
We use only strictly necessary cookies: one to keep you signed in, and one to protect the internal feedback-review page. Neither is used for tracking or advertising, so no cookie banner is shown. If that ever changes, this page and the banner will be updated first.
How long we keep it
Quiz results, feedback, and account data are kept until you ask us to delete them.
Who else sees it
Nobody, except Google, and only as the sign-in provider if you choose to use Google sign-in. We don't sell or share your data with advertisers or analytics companies.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, or delete your data, object to or restrict how we use it, or request a copy of it. You can also complain to your local data protection authority. To exercise any of this, email the address on the Impressum page.
